Free agent NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly threatening a woman in Florida, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to an arrest report first obtained by WESH 2 News in Orlando, Florida, Jackson was staying at a vacation home in the Regal Oaks Resort and returned to the unit drunk at around midnight Friday. He kicked in the upstairs bedroom door, according to the arrest report — details of which were reported in the Orlando Sentinel — and began yelling at the woman, who went downstairs and grabbed a knife.
The woman told police that Jackson followed her downstairs, grabbed a handgun out of a bag and pointed it at her, saying, “I’ll kill you [expletive]. I’ll kill you.”
Jackson told the deputies who responded to the incident that there was no gun in the rental, but a gun and container of marijuana were found on the kitchen counter, according to the arrest report.
