Officials at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental airport detained Rockets center Dwight Howard last week after finding a reportedly loaded gun in his carry-on bag. TMZ Sports first broke the news on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred last Friday at around 7 a.m. while Howard attempted to get through security at Terminal E, according to police who spoke toESPN later on Wednesday.
